Just a checklist for the week...

Monday: Vet work
Tuesday: Visitor for sorting house assistance... then more vet work
Wednesday: Print CMS stuff for a student ... work at the store
Thursday: More vet work... OH, go shopping at Costco after
Friday: MORE vet work
Saturday: WOOHOO no vet work, shopping for something to wear to M-SB's Wedding (grumble) and the coven meeting
Sunday: Kennel duty... and serious prep work for the starting of CSM

Wow, I finally get a day off ... sorta... on Saturday. It has been nonstop since I got back from camping. I am SO going to take a full week off sometime soon... real soon. At least I have some help today in getting the house organized.

Another Special Thank You

I almost forgot. I absolutely HAVE to thank some one for being at the Open House and for being part of the CMS staff.

t!

I am so glad... appreciative of your presence at the Open House and among our teachers. You bring in this fresh and lightheartedness that takes the edge off my seriousness. One day, I hope to teach with you. I think there is much I can learn from you. Thanks for being there.

Exhausted

I haven't been this exhausted for soooo long. I am not made to work this many hours replacing folks AND working at the store AND coordinating CMS. Somewhere in there, I am supposed to have a husband, clean a house, have a bit of a life, and run a coven. HA! I am so looking forward to Labour Day weekend when I stop replacing folks at the vet. I also hate being yelled at for not being able to do something I am not qualified to do.

On a better note...
The Crescent Moon School... wait registered now... Crescent Moon Spiritual Learning Centre had its Open House. It went very well. Not many people came or registered for Level 1, but the displays of the student works... well, I am SO PROUD of all the hard work they have done. I cry with this over swelling pride every time I think of the amazing work on display and the student who did the work, from Levels 1 through 3. WOW! Congradulations... and Thank you! You are WONDERFUL STUDENTS!!!

Ok... stopping here before I get too mushy. I have a stoic rep to uphold, you know.

Burning out fast

I have been replacing a coworker at the vet clinic this week (and for next week). This is becoming rapidly very exhausting. I do 40+ hours at the vet, 6 hours at the store and lots working on the CMS stuff preparing for the Open House. I have no room for anything else... not even sleep it feels like. So if I am a bit gruff... please accept my apology. I REALLY REALLY do not mean to be.

Posting at last!!

I have not ben able to get into this blog to post all fricken week.

We had and "interesting" trip. We drove through torrential rains and set up camp in said rain with the help of someone else's absolutely wonderful dedicant. Most of the crew of Canadians had wet tents and gear by the end of set-up. The weekend went really well though, despite the flood warning that scared off a bunch of people. It never hit us though (we were too west and south of it).

I glow thinking of how well our dedicants connected with the rest of the coven. There were some awesone workshops on stone lore (I gave that one), how to be a facilitator, Celtic deities and more. We participated in rituals and meetings and initiations. It is so good to reconnect.

Bonds were both made and strengthened this year as others were broken or severed.

I look forward to an amazing year... if my dedicants don't be the death of me in their own special ways!

The low side of things was that we were practically food poisoned by the caterers Saturday evening. And that Sunday I woke at 6:45am expecting to be driving home no later that 3pm... we left at 7pm, arrived home at 10am, where I was ill for the last 4-6 hours of that drive. Ug.

I have been exhausted and out of wack all week. And now, just as I start to get back on track, I begin working 7 days a week for 2 jobs till Labour Day... and try to prepare for my school's Open House.

I did get to make a poster at least for it!

Coven Camping Prep

Well I have been VERY busy getting ready. My dad loaned me the parking light out of his car to replace the one in mine till I get back and buy a new one for my car. He needs to fix the sealbelt again in the back seat.

Triskelene Crow Moon met to coordinate packing and leaving times. We leave Thursday morning at 5AM from Tim Horton's. Autumn gave us the maps and the crucial Friendly's restaurant stop list. We planned who picked up who and when and who carries what gear... AND which Friendly's we will be stopping at along the way there.

Now if only I can get the damned banner finished. I am going to my parents' again today to do finishing touches on the car for the trip. Well, my dad will. I will finish stitching the crow to the banner. Then I will temporarily glue the othr items on and we will continure the stitching while en route and during the weekend. I hope we can be finished.

Headless Chicken

That is how I feel as I run about getting ready for my coven camping trip in Pennsylvania, check on the survival of my sister/niece/parents' house, prepare students for graduation and plan someone else's handfasting... as well as our own.

Note to ALL. Mine and M-SB's handfasting is postponed till April. (Have to remember to call Hurley's and move that)

Today, (damn it is chilly out there) I go to get car insurance. And Banner supplies for our coven banner, feed the reptiles, plan CMS grad ritual, tidy the house, sort the laundry, and hmmm should have lunch. Later M-SB and I will go out for supper then meet for coffee with the couple we will be handfasting.

Shocked and not

Shocked!

My mom got on an airplane to Vancouver to visit my brother and his family. My dad had been taking my mom to the airport several days a week for the past couple weeks getting her used to the idea. My mom is one of those agoraphobic people that cannot be more that an hour from home before she has panick attacks and gets sick. She is also terrified of flying so much she made my dad switch departments at work to stop him from flying places as a rep for his company. And now... she is currently in Vancouver!! I can hardly believe it! She is thrilled to be holding her year old-grandson, Hunter.

Not shocked...

My sister who was left in the house... broke carnal rules. And then dared to claim that I was lying and making up stories when it is she. She has messed with her own head so much that I don't think she knows truth anymore. She cannot be trusted. I cannot be even civil with her anymore. My poor dad is at the end of his patience. She has ruined their lives 99 ways to Hell. She so has an earful and a back-hand due from me soon.

Yesterday/Today... I am angry. So very angry I am not sure how to deal.
